in practice every day we run a play. i hate it cuz i dont know it cuz i missed the first month of the season and everyone else knows it. i mess it up every time i run the drill and everyone especially the seniors look at me like im retarded. i hate this feeling what can i do do help with learning the play and get rid of the scardness to mess up and make me mess up more.

well when you dont tell us what the play is we cant help you. but i would go the coach and ask him to descibe the play just let him know that you dont get the play. hope it helps

Just like when one has problems learning something in a class, one goes to the instructor for extra help. No dishonor in that, especially if you missed time early in the season.
